Part III – Impulse

11 March 2020

“Let’s start at once without preludes. I, being juicy and pretty, since the first days of our communications set up the minimal level of comfort for my needs. You are prospective man, senior scientific collaborator of some institute, which is hard to be pronounced, and I liked you at the first sight and I barely felt sorry of my choice. Some former whims of mine aren’t worth attention,” Ayuna paused to have a sip of coffee and, having tidied pragmatically her brown hair, she continued. ”So, my dear hare, taking into account the time you devote you to your science, then to gym, I decided to take the initiative and suggest to pass on to the next stage of the relations.”

Tars, also famous in narrow women circle as “dear hare”, looked over the cozy chamber café, where he and Ayuna liked to have rest after busy day’s work. For an instance he looked at her big eyes, snub nose and plump upper lip and then, sighing, asked:

“Yun, what do we exist for?”

“You – men, all of you become such beings, just when a woman “is fresh and sporty on the wrong side of thirty”   you deep into spiritual search,” purred Ayuna, passing her finger over his blade shaped beard. “But actually everything is not as you could think.” The groomed woman’s finger with refined manicure moved from the beard on the shoulder and tenderly moved down the muscular arm. “I have got the scientific degree in archaeology, won title of master of sports in biathlon, I was the first of our course in the championship on marshal arts and now I should understand what I want to do further in my life. And you my dear hare as well as my feelings towards you disturb slightly my inner compass therefore it’s time for me to confess.”

Stirring thoughtfully with a spoon getting cold tea, Tars was looking at his chosen one. Ayuna Silva approved her last name completely. If someone of this ancient aristocratic family was set on achieving some goal then the latter didn’t have any chance to avoid it’s destiny. They were so brought up since childhood. It may be said that this grip was sucked from a mother.

“You have unstable inner compass. You don’t know what you want – having started speaking about one idea, you finished with the opposite one. However today I have to make important choice and you have helped me right now,” Tars interrupted her in calmly, reading the bracelet’s message. “Actually there is nothing to hold me in this world, everything seems to be too predetermined, and as you noticed I as well as other men have questions without answers. You see, I am looking for myself. Besides what kind of relations had we? It was “friendship free of obligations” as you seem to have called it. And it suited us both.”

Ayuna glanced at the holographic screen of the Tars’s bracelet:”It’s time to make choice, gravitational mobile (gravitmobile) will stand by, as we agreed, 5 minutes longer”.

“A woman must follow a man but never vise versa. Therefore I will agree with you, on this stage of life our fortune arrows point different sides. I bear no malice at you for your

having played hooky  with me all these years. On the contrary I am grateful. Now I know what I am going to do.” Tars passed personally chipped bracelet over the terminal built in the  terminal to pay for the coffee and stroked on her hair.

“Good bye friend,” said he unexpectedly. Then he kissed her cheek and stepped resolutely towards the exit. At the door he turned round and added smiling,” I have loved Ayuna all this time as well as I endured Silva.”

“Look, what has it been? I didn’t manage to say the main point,” muttered surprised Ayuna, watching through the window gravitation automobile flying away with her former, already, boyfriend.
